 HOM_2008_BikeMSLogo

Thanks to all of the cyclists and voluntteers that made the 2008 bike MS a record-breaking success!  The ride has raised $640,000 to date.  But we're not done!  Cyclists have until August 1, 2008 to continue raising money for this year's ride!

Sharon Grossman, Chapter President, is challenging us to raise $1 million!  If Bike MS reaches the goal by August 1st she will shave her head on WTKR, Channel 3!

Help us reach our goal:

 The Newly Diagnosed Teleconference Series:

4 Opportunities to Learn About MS

from the Comfort of Your Home

The Newly Diagnosed Teleconference Series is an opportunity to hear directly from experts with information about the disease who will discuss the information that is most relevant to someone who has been living with MS for less than two years.

Each teleconference lasts just one hour and is accessible via a toll-free number. You can ask questions or just listen to the information. Best of all, you can do so from the privacy of your own home. Participate in all four calls or just the ones that interest you.

We Need Your Input!

The Hampton Roads Chapter is exploring the possibility of offering a weekend retreat in the spring of 2009 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for people with MS and a close friend or family member.  To help the Chapter decide if this program is feasible, we are asking for feedback from people with MS and/or their close friend or family member who may be interested in attending this type of event.  Please complete a short survey by clicking here.  Thank you!

Turn your stuff into the stuff of dreams!

Now you can sell an item on eBay and donate from 10% to 100% of the net proceeds to the National MS Society. The money you donate from selling an item through eBay Giving Works can also be applied toward your pledges for an upcoming event like bike MS, walk MS or challenge walk MS.
